Thank you for your interest in submitting to the 5th annual West End Comedy Festival! Submissions open August 1st.

Early bird submission fee is $30. Submission fee increases to $40 on August 15th. You must pay the submission fee by Venmo to @hissyfitcomedy or here on our website to be considered. Submissions close November 1st at 11:59 PM. Selection emails will go out on or around November 30th.

• The festival will take place March 6-8, 2026. Each selected performer will receive 2-3 shows and perform with at least one headliner if they attend multiple days of the festival. If you aren’t able to attend multiple days, we will do our best to try to get you on 2 shows.

• Comics must be 21 years of age by the date of the festival.

• All comics must complete a submission form and pay the submission fee to be eligible.

  Submission fees are non-refundable. Any submissions received without paying the submission fee will not be considered.

• Tapes must be at least 3 minutes long. Our panel will watch 3 minutes of your tape and you can provide a time stamp for the 3 minutes they watch.

• Tapes should not be set to private or password protected. Unlisted tapes are fine.

• Tapes must be a continuous set and cannot be a “best of” highlights reel.

• Tapes should begin and end with your jokes, so make sure the 3 minutes you select doesn’t include intros or host sets.

• All submissions must be original material written and performed by you.

• All submissions must be received by 11:59 PM on November 1st.

• Selected performers will be announced on or around November 30th.

Comics accepted into West End Comedy Fest will receive

• At least 2 performances

• Hotel (shared room with 1 comic of same gender)

• Free Professional Headshots by Lola Scott

• Festival T-Shirt and Swag Bag

• After parties planned by younger comics in the scene because we are old.

• Food/Drinks

• Bowling and lunch social event with all fest comics

• Other stuff we’ll think of later
